1.Organizer

The Gold Friday Forecast competition is organised by the WeGolden entity identified below, which is solely responsible for administering the competition and issuing rewards.

2.Acceptance of Rules

By submitting an entry you accept these Official Rules in full. If you do not accept them, do not enter.

These rules apply in addition to the WeGolden Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where these rules and the general terms conflict on a matter specific to the competition, these rules govern.

3.Competition Purpose

The competition invites participants to publish a reasoned market analysis and commit to a single forecast of the XAU/USD spot price before the outcome is known.

It is a skill-based competition. Entry is free, requires no deposit and requires no trading activity. It is not a game of chance and no stake is placed.

4.Competition Period

The competition runs in weekly rounds on a continuing basis, beginning with a four-week pilot.

Each round opens on Monday and closes at 17:00 on Thursday in the America/New_York time zone. The official price is captured after the Friday cutoff at 17:00 America/New_York.

All times are administered in the America/New_York time zone as a named zone, so deadlines are unaffected by daylight saving transitions.

5.Eligibility

To enter you must:

• be at least 18 years of age;
• hold a WeGolden account registered in your own name;
• be located in a jurisdiction in which WeGolden is authorised to offer the competition.

Employees of WeGolden and of its group companies, and their immediate families, are not eligible.

6.How to Enter

Entries are submitted through the WeGolden customer portal. An entry consists of one video analysis and one forecast price.

One entry per person per weekly round is permitted. Where several accounts are found to be controlled by the same person, all associated entries for that round are disqualified.

An entry cannot be amended or withdrawn after submission. The submission time is the time at which the entry is completely received.

7.Video Requirements

The video must:

• run for at least ten minutes;
• show the participant's face throughout;
• state the forecast price at the beginning and at the end;
• include English subtitles;
• contain only content the participant is entitled to use.

The video must not contain referral links, affiliate codes, sponsorship or third-party advertising, and must not consist of an AI-generated voice, avatar or analysis.

8.Publication of Entries

No entry, forecast price or video is published before the round closes.

After the round closes, WeGolden may publish a participant's display name, avatar, country, video and forecast price on the public competition site.

Access to the exact forecast value on the public site may be limited to signed-in users. This is a presentation rule and is not represented as a security control.

9.Official Price

The official price is the midpoint of WeGolden's bid and ask for XAU/USD at the Friday cutoff, rounded to two decimal places, expressed in US dollars per troy ounce.

The bid, ask, midpoint, capture timestamp, source and method version are published with each result.

If a verified quote cannot be obtained, the round is marked as a price exception and results are withheld until verification completes.

10.Winner Determination

For each entry, the difference is the absolute value of the forecast price minus the official price.

An entry is eligible for a reward only if its difference does not exceed USD 30.00 per ounce.

Eligible entries are ranked by ascending difference. Where two entries share a difference, the entry submitted earlier ranks higher.

Rankings are determined by WeGolden from its own records. Figures shown on the public site are a presentation of that determination.

11.Rewards

Up to three eligible participants per round each receive a reward of USD 200, credited to their WeGolden account.

If fewer than three entries are eligible, only the eligible entries are rewarded. If no entry is eligible, no reward is issued for that round and no amount carries over.

12.Winner Verification

Before a reward is credited, a participant must complete identity verification to WeGolden's satisfaction, confirming age, identity and jurisdiction.

A participant who cannot be verified within the stated window forfeits the reward, which may then pass to the next eligible entry.

13.Disqualification and Fraud

An entry may be disqualified where it breaches these rules, including where:

• the video is shorter than the minimum duration;
• the forecast in the video does not match the forecast submitted;
• the entry is received after the deadline;
• more than one entry is attributable to the same person;
• English subtitles are absent;
• the entry contains promotional or referral content;
• the content is copied or infringes a third party's rights;
• an AI-generated voice, avatar or analysis has been used;
• identity cannot be verified where a reward is in prospect.

WeGolden may disqualify an entry, withhold a reward or exclude a participant where it identifies manipulation, collusion or fraud.

14.Provisional Results and Appeals

Results are first published as provisional. A participant may appeal a decision affecting their entry within the appeal window stated with the provisional results.

Results become final once the appeal window has closed and all appeals have been determined. A final result is not reopened except to correct a manifest error.

15.Copyright and Content License

Participants retain ownership of their video.

By entering, a participant grants WeGolden a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, publish, excerpt, subtitle and promote the video in connection with the competition and its promotion.

WeGolden will not alter a video in a way that misrepresents the participant's analysis or forecast.

16.Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the WeGolden Privacy Policy.

Only a display name, avatar, country, video, forecast and result are published. Legal name, contact details, account identifiers, verification documents and internal review records are never published.

17.Communications

WeGolden may contact a participant about their entry, a review, an appeal or a reward using the contact details held on their account.

Competition-related service messages are not marketing and are sent regardless of marketing preferences.

18.Financial Content Disclaimer

Analysis submitted by participants represents the views of the individual participant.

Neither participant content nor the competition itself constitutes investment advice, a recommendation or an invitation to trade. WeGolden does not endorse any forecast or analysis published through the competition.

Past performance in the competition is not indicative of any future market outcome.

19.Third-Party Platforms

The competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by any third-party platform on which it may be discussed or promoted.

Where a third-party service is used to host or deliver media, that service's own terms apply to its use.

20.Technical Issues and Force Majeure

WeGolden is not liable for an entry that is lost, delayed or incomplete for reasons outside its reasonable control.

Where an event outside its reasonable control prevents a round from being administered fairly, WeGolden may suspend, extend or cancel that round, publishing the reason.

21.Changes to the Rules

WeGolden may amend these rules. A change is published with a new version number and an effective date, and is recorded in the change log on this page.

A change does not apply retrospectively to a round that has already closed.

22.Governing Law and Disputes

These rules are governed by the law stated below, and the courts identified below have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the competition.
